De-escalation of aggressive behaviour in healthcare

Gae Nuttall is a Risk Adviser at MDA National, joining the organisation in May 2015. Gae’s professional interests include medico-legal education, practice management and accreditation systems. She believes that implementing good practice systems minimises risk to both doctors and their practice staff, while providing quality health care. Gae is a Registered Nurse, with extensive experience in GP education and orientation of doctors new to the Australian health care system.

As part of MDA National’s Support in Practice team Gae provides practical assistance and advice to medical practitioners and practice managers to help reduce their medico-legal risk.
