Decisions about boundaries with patients presents in numerous ways every day and all health practitioners are vulnerable to boundary transgressions.

The workshop explores many aspects of boundaries with patients including:

  • how to respond to people who push boundaries
  • dual relationships, e.g. treating people with whom you have a personal relationship and self-prescribing
  • preventing sexual and financial exploitation of patients
  • identifying when boundaries may be vulnerable
